ABOUT
My work is an introspective journey, where self-reflection and contemplation meet to help me visualize the complex emotions and subconscious imagery that shape our collective human experiences.
I like to use powerful symbolic subjects from nature to build metaphorical narratives about spiritual transformations, emotional turmoil, resilience, and healing.
The creative process itself serves me as a tool for meditation and introspection. This meditative approach often results in abstract or imaginary 'soul-scapes', depicting ethereal spaces with an atmosphere of calm and contemplation. Each painting holds a subtle hint of mystery, inviting viewers to explore deeper meanings beneath the surface. I aim to further explore the relationship between visual art and subconscious mechanisms and the healing power of the creative process through my ongoing art therapy studies and practice. I believe in the transformative power of creativity and hope to integrate this into my art.
I aim to be environmentally conscious in my daily artistic practice. Therefore, I'm using natural and eco-friendly materials in my painting, such as homemade watercolors made from Earth and plant pigments, eco-friendly oil paints, and locally sourced or repurposed materials like sand, gravel, dry pigments, used coffee grounds, and tea leaves
