'Noli Me Tangere' is an emotionally charged, surreal visual metaphor that reflects on the transformative force of pain and the fragile threshold between self-protection and self-isolation. It is part of the Metamorphosis series, in which I explore subconscious imagery emerging through meditation and self-reflection, revealing raw emotions and suppressed aspects of the psyche. In this work, I confront destructive impulses triggered by unhealthy boundaries and the accumulation of pain, questioning how one might remain sensitive in a world that continues to cause harm.
