'Silver Lake' is part of the contemplative series 'Silent Soul Scapes' - a body of work born from my personal journey of discovering the creative process as a tool for meditation, introspection, and healing.
Through delicate transitions of color and texture, I aimed to create a space that invites you to make a pause and experience calm, mystery, and your own internal landscape. A soft veil of mist blurs the line between water and sky, forming a landscape that feels both real and dreamlike. Subtle light emerging through muted tones suggests a brief moment of clarity within nature’s stillness. The use of muted, natural color pallets and minimal composition is inspired by the principles of Zen aesthetics, emphasizing simplicity, tranquility, and the profound grace of nature.
The materials used: (eco)oil paint, natural earth piments and repurposed organic materials (coffee grounds, sand) and linen canvas are specifically chosen to reflect the deep connection with nature.
